Black Ops 7 Zombies Agarthan Device Relic Guide 2026 Save When You Buy Boosts from RSVSR

Black Ops 7 Zombies Agarthan Device changes Cursed runs with rotating zombie types. Here's how to reach the Dry Dock trial and survive Round 50+ pressure.

ran this twice last night and I'm convinced most people are underestimating how annoying the Agarthan Device setup is, not how hard the actual fight is. I've been getting my warm-up runs from CoD BO7 Bot Lobby when I don't feel like wasting a whole night on scuffed early rounds, and even then this relic still eats time. The payoff is real, but don't go in thinking it's just another “grab three things and shoot a portal” side thing.

Do the boring prep first

If you haven't cleared the Totenreich main EE once, don't even bother looking for the relic pieces. They just won't show, afaik. You also need to be in Cursed Mode, and from my runs Tier II or higher is where the Agarthan Device stuff actually starts behaving. I ran Richtofen both times because everyone keeps saying he's required, and yeah, I didn't see the triggers on other characters. Could be bugged, could be intended, but I'm not burning more matches to prove it yet.

The Tyr's Head part is pure patience

The helmet and Mister Peeks piece weren't hard for me, just kinda dumb because Tyr's Head teleporting is RNG-brained. Sometimes it kicks you back to the map, sometimes you get the secret room. In my second run it took five cycles before I had the right room chain. Bring something that clears tight packs fast, because standing around waiting for another teleport while Cursed spawns ramp up is how runs get thrown. The meta right now is all damage, but a safety perk setup felt way better here.

Don't fumble the ARC-XD

The radio step is where I saw a ton of people mess up. You need the ARC-XD for the Core Foundry vent, and if that thing gets popped early, enjoy the pain. Once you're in the Group 935 lab, slow down. The wall numbers, letter matching, jar labels, and purple serum bit aren't hard, but doing it mid-round is asking to get clapped. I tested pausing the step between rounds and it seemed fine, but I'm not 100% sure if every lobby state saves it cleanly.

The trial is the real build check

After the helmet, Peeks item, and radio are set on that throne-looking thing in the Von List/Richtofen chain, listen for the Mister Peeks cue. Then Dry Dock opens up for the relic trial. This is where the relic stops being a scavenger hunt and turns into a Round 50+ slap fight. Pack-a-Punch III felt mandatory, not optional. I used a high-DPS wall control build with decoys, and even then the restricted damage zones made it sweaty. If your squad is still arguing over doors at round 12, don't start this.

Worth it, but not for casual runs

My take: Agarthan Device is cracked for serious Cursed Mode pushing, but mid for anyone just farming chill matches. The rotating zombie types every round changes your whole loadout plan, and Tier III achievement hunters are gonna want it anyway. I still don't know if co-op needs everyone to have main EE cleared, so someone test that. Also, I've used RSVSR before for game currency and item stuff when I'm short on time, but no paid shortcut fixes a bad Dry Dock setup. Hope this helps, lmk if I missed anything.
